Michael J. Souter, MB, ChB, DA, FRCA, FNCS (ASA)
Michael Souter, MB, ChB, DA, FRCA, FNCS, is a board-certified critical care physician and anesthesiologist. He formerly served as chief of anesthesia as well as medical director and co-founder of the Neurocritical Care Service at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he remains in clinical practice. He is also a University of Washington professor of anesthesiology and pain medicine and an adjunct professor of neurological surgery. The American Society of Anesthesiology sponsors Dr. Souter on the CoAEMSP Board.

Megan Corry, EdD, NRP, is the program director for the paramedic program at City College of San Francisco. She has served as a CoAEMSP site visitor since 2012. She is on the Board of Advisors for the Prehospital Care Research Forum (PCRF) and works to improve research literacy among EMS students, providers, and educators. Dan Batsie, MPA, NRP (NREMT)
Dan Batsie, MPA, NRP, is the deputy commissioner of public safety for the state of Vermont. He has been a paramedic in New York, Maine, and now Vermont for more than 30 years. Batsie has directed two accredited paramedic programs, authored two EMS textbooks, and lectured nationally and internationally on EMS topics. Paul Berlin, MS, NRP, is a past chair of the CoAEMSP Board. He holds a Master’s of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Thomas B. Brazelton III, MD, MPH, FAAP, is a professor in the Division of Critical Care in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He was the founding medical director for the Pediatric and Neonatal Med Flight critical care transport program and ran it for 20 years until transitioning to a new role in UW Health in 2024. Thomas Breyer, MSHS, NRP, is assistant to the general president for technical assistance and information resources at the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). Breyer served as a career firefighter-paramedic for 13 years, including with the City of Forest Park, OH, where he served as a firefighter-paramedic, lieutenant, and eventually the EMS coordinator.
